The University of Toronto Ski and Snowboard Club (UTSSC) is dedicated to creating an inclusive and equitable environment for all members of our ski and snowboard community. We believe that diversity and inclusivity are essential to the growth and success of the sport. We strive to provide equal opportunities and fair treatment for all individuals regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, ability, age, and socio-economic background.

We actively work to:

• remove barriers and create an environment where all skiersandsnowboarders, mentors, mentees, and staff feel safe, respected, and valued
• provide training and education to promote equity and inclusion within our organization
• actively seek out diverse perspectives and voices
• review our policies and practices to ensure they are inclusive and fair
• hold ourselves accountable for addressing any issues of discrimination or bias that may arise

e that it is an ongoing effort that requires active engagement and collaboration from all members. We stand in solidarity with marginalized communities and strive to be allies in the fight for equity and justice.

We believe that diversity and inclusivity enrich the ski and snowboard experience for everyone, and we are committed to fostering a community that reflects the diversity of society and promotes the equal participation of all. In the spirit of our EDI program, we have created financial scholarships to increase accessibility to our trips and events.
